venom spin off is back?

lol Legend RJ Mitte is on the front of Rotten Tomatoes for this week's Five Favorite Movies (his choices by the way are Pulp Fiction, The Crow, Serenity, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Training Day...what kind of perfect taste?) because he's in some indie movie.

I look like an idiot because I'm walking to my locker with this weird smile on my face cause I'm almost laughing that this MiB/JS movie is happening.

The two franchises are so different, I'm not sure how it could work. I could understand a Ghostbusters/MIB crossover but this seems a crossover too far.

Yeah, that crossover would make infinitely more sense than a Men in Black/Jump Street one. And it would be fitting too since the original Men in Black movie was the Ghostbusters of its day.

I'm surprised it's not been done in comic form, IDW has already done crossovers with Ghostbusters and TMNT, Star Trek and Planet of the Apes and with DC a Batman/TMNT crossover. I guess IDW doesn't have a license for MIB comics

I'd guess that Lowell Cunningham has the comic rights, unless there was something involved with the contract of the film rights. The last company to publish anything MiB was Marvel, though.

The MIB comics are nothing like the film but I guess unless Sony or IDW were willing to purchase publishing rights from Cunningham then we won't see a MIB comics based on the film characters.

Ya need to be fast. But in some cases not faster than the predator, just you're own species. You can't outrun a bear, but if you can outrun Leo you'll be fine.

Notice these are wildly different concepts that are crossed over.

Similar concepts like Star Wars and Star Trek or Ghostbusters and MIB don't always mix well for some reason.
