It's a live action film that did not play like a family film - as evidenced by the terrible Friday holds throughout its run. It's setting yourself up for bad comparisons (over estimates) all along the way. And better legs don't mean that Rango and Lorax shouldn't be used for pattern basis. Of course Zoo is doing better and it will continue to do better because it is its own unique film. But use common sense in making comparisons please.... And again if I am wrong I will be glad to admit it. I'm not basing my numbers on emotion. I'm basing the initial pattern off of the similar Friday jump of 110%. Cinderella not playing as much like a family film means it's jump should have been higher than Zootopia's on Friday but it wasn't so Zootopia over performed it. I believe you were the one calling for a 90% Friday jump for it the other day. Considering that BOM is calling for a $40m w/e then they too have similar ideas about a stronger Saturday jump than 50% and a 4.15 w/e multiplier while I think it will be closer to a 3.8 or 3.9 multiplier. It's the best movie in the franchise. (I didn't say it would have better WOM than BVS though)

A slow steady crawl over the next two weeks. A -79.3% drop from last Friday and yet the PTA is still three times bigger than two weeks ago. Still, even at this rate it will require another 2 weeks.

I didn't say it's an emotional choice. And I already admitted that the Friday jump surprised me since I was expecting around 90%. And if the Saturday jump is huge then I will admit defeat and throw out all examples. But Cindy had an established pattern it's entire run that's not applicable to Zoo based off just 1 days gross - percentage performance. I do not see based on historical examples how Zoo can hit 40 let alone more than 36, but again examples are a small set in comparison to a films whole run.
