Most people don’t hate DC, they just want better DC movies.

Comment of the day

Most people my ass. You think everyone wants DC to be like Marvel all fluffy and fun:rolleyes:. DC has always been Darker just look at its comics and cartoons. Oh and tghey already said JL movies and ongoing will be lighter so they will not be as dark as MoS and BvS. They needed to be dark to set the tone. And i am sure nobody want a fluffy Batman he needs to be dark he is a dark character. Your DC universe does not make a lick of sense. Itr goers against everything DC stands for and do you really want them to copy marvel

Honestly if right now this could be the third highest OD ever if it gets to 85 per rth with that number ij ust don't see it dropping as hard as some of you are predicting for tomorrow

That's just a function of this specific weekend.  The BO overall falls 5-10% from Good Friday to Holy Saturday every year (and that's removing Thursday night shows which would have inflated the Friday total).

Last year Furious 7 dropped 9.6% from Fri to Sat after taking out the Thursday shows.   BvS may be even more Friday heavy to start.

That's not the actual problem that people have had with these movies. Try harder.

Lionsgate should consider shopping the rights to last Divergent flick around. Netflix is probably crazy enough to offer enough money to make it worthwhile.

I say just let it go. Don't do this to Shailene anymore. The series has turned out to be a terrible career move for her.

I don't think 80.5 gets you to 169.5. I'm tired and I can't (won't?) sleep, so I could be wrong. I've been steadfast all week about this flick being very front-loaded so I'll stick by that.

I think that would point to $162M if it has F7-like drops from true Fri. But if its more front-loaded then that movie--which its Flixster rating also suggests (84% vs 74%)--then it may turn out even lower.

Edit: although to be fair Deadline seems to have gotten better at extrapolations/projections (at least in this one instance), and looks less like their usual Rectal Bank withdrawal

LOL I've watched it 7 times already :D....on the following days:

March 4, 6, 13, 15, 21, 24, and 25 (yesterday) B) On March 4, 15, and 21, I was by myself and it was awesome! :P and on March 6, 13, and 24, I watched it with different friends, and on March 25, I watched it with my family ^_^. It seems to NEVER get old.

I've contributed a total $89 and regret nothing.  Everyone I tell thinks I'm insane but I like a good quality animation every now and then

RTH...

Ok, so I'm new here (obviously).   But who is this RTH and why do people beckon for him/her?

Through the week, Allegiant actually had better increases and holds than the previous 2 movies in the series, but literally everyone knew that scheduling it before BvS was a stupid move. I won't be surprised if the weekend drop ends up being close to 70% in the end. The movie lost IMAX and literally all Large Format Screens and a lot of bigger auditoriums as well, whoever kept it on March 18th deserves to be fired, it was always going to decrease, the competition ensured a much much bigger decrease than normal.

Well I saw BVS today-review is in the review thread. And if it was not for Ratchett and Clank and Nice Guys the trailers were all nerdy films! (Okay R and C is based off of a VG) The other trailers were Cap 3 (got a great response btw), Warcraft and X-Men.
