apart from JLaw and Tucci didn't like anyone else. Thought Peta was badly cast.

THG isn't really one of my favorite franchises but I thought Jena Malone was amazingly badass in it. I was sad not to see her in BvS.

Two words: Liam Hemsworth.

'Nuff said.

(Also I feel like Josh Hutcherson gave like a better performance in Little Manhattan or even Zathura or even fucking RV than he did in most Hunger Games movies.)

And Josh's acting was spectacular as hijacked Peeta, btw.

Wait  what's so great about HP cast again other than Alan rickman ?

i can't really judge an entire franchise, but the first sw movie , the Lotr movies , marvel's movies all have way better casts . I mean the difference is gigantic with legends like Robert Redford , Lawrence Olivier e.t.c appearing on these movies plus icons like Christopher lee, Peter Cushing , Anthony Hopkins e.t.c being there  . Nolan's batman movies....really ?

Many $$

Im pretty sure it was 20M for Hemsworth and Theron. Not sure how much for blunt and chastain but either way it's close to 25-30 just for the main 4.

Theron got $7m, Emily $5m. No way Hemsworth got $20m. Chastain was forced to do this film as part of her Crimson Peak deal.

No I meant 20M for hems and Theron together, but that's because I thought they got 10 each.

For Chastain, does that mean she didn't get paid for this? She was allowed to do Crimson Peak if she did this movie? I'm not entirely sure how this works

Of course she got paid. She signed a two movie contract with Universal.

And yes, Theron got 10M. Hems also got 10M.

Yeh she got paid, just forced to do this film whether she wanted to or not, lol.

Same reason Channing Tatum was in the two GI Joe films. Even though he didn't want to be.

Natalie Portman in Thor/Thor2

Emily Blunt forced to turn down Black Widow to do Gullivers Travels

Jennifer Garner - Elektra

Edward Norton - Italian Job

Mike Myers - Cat in the Hat

Keanu Reeves - Watcher

edit- googled more, lol

Nice! 60M for JB on it's second weekend is crazy in hindsight. Hell, people were thinking it was going to make that in it's OW or even less. 300M+ is guaranteed at this point, WOM is incredible for this, everyone I know loved it. I hope it can hit 350M mark, either way it's a huge success for Disney and well deserved.
