How lots of people feel about Spider-man 2 is how I feel about Superman the Movie and Batman 89.

Those are the superhero movies I loved as a kid.

For current superhero movies, Winter Soldier, Deadpool, Avengers and DOFP are my favorites.

TDK is well executed but it doesn't have the replay value or imagination I like from my top superhero movies.

I'm in the minority, but I loved The Amazing Spider Man 1 and really liked The Amazing Spider Man 2.

Regarding the first Spidey movies, I only liked the second one. The first one didn't age well, the third one was a mess ( after what they did to Venom, there was no coming back to that ).

Somebody else has been able to articulate my opinion. Glad I'm not alone here :)

I liked Spider-Man 1 more.

Spider-Man 1 doesn't hold up as well for me. It's been on some of the HBO channels recently and the effects and fight choreography looked pretty unpolished, not to mention the use of some action scene cliches. And the performances feel all over the place.

First Class = 8.5

Days of Future Past = 9

Apocalypse = 7

X-men score = 24.5

First Avenger = 7.5

Winter Soldier = 9

Civil War = 9

Cap score = 25.5

The gap is even wider if you use RottenTomato ratings to tally up the final scores.

Why would anyone do that though?  We are talking about our opinions here.

im glad to see lots of First Class appreciation going on here by the way, it was a great start for the trilogy and it deserved to do much better.

The RT rating is another opinion to consider.

Or rather the aggregate opinion of hundreds of movie critics.

Somebody needs to have their head examined.

Nah. Just different strokes for different folks. Generally, if a movie is at least decent, the only thing I'm interested in is how much fun it is. If it is less then decent, then I tend to nitpick at it. CA1 was just boring to me.
