Jason
Good job BOT! Loved Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Silence, and Hacksaw Ridge, really glad to see they made Best Picture. (Loved Zootopia too of course, but I knew it was going to make it.) Thanks @Spaghetti by the Sea and @The Panda for putting this together! And to everyone who voted. One very, very minor quibble: Spoiler I'd have used this shot for Best Hero, Judy Hopps:

baumer
Great job guys! But how the hell has everyone seen Silence? It's still not even semi wide here in Toronto. And yet enough people voted for it to get in? Strange.

Jake Gittes
Only just got here. I can live with this. Baron Zemo in Best Villain easily wins for the funniest nomination though. Shaking my head at American Honey's complete shutout and The Witch getting just two noms. Silence would have received a lot of love from me if the deadline had been today btw but I'm glad you got it in there anyway.

filmlover
Glen Powell getting is also a pleasant surprise. He had a great year between Everybody Wants Some and Hidden Figures.
SLAM!
Kate Beckinsale is a complete surprise to me. I remember wanting to see that movie but coming short. I haven't seen any of the horror films because I don't like horror. I think I'll vote for Don't Breathe because it is original. I was kinda hoping Sing Street would sneak into Best Picture but all of the nominees are pretty good all around the board. Shout-out to Eye in the Sky for getting the surprise Best Film Editing nom even though I didn't see that movie. Movies that I want to see more than I previously did include: Arrival Hunt for the Wilderpeople Hacksaw Ridge Kubo and the Two Strings Silence Edited January 27, 2017 by slambros
