The movie ends with Kim Jong Un and his Gremlin ($5 Dorrar voiced by Tyler Perry) nuking America. The sequel is on track for 2020, in Gremlins V. Minions: War on Comic Reliefs.

With Jar Jar in a cameo

Jar Jar is the main antagonist who becomes a Sith Lord when possessed by Slimer with his army of dead zombie memes lead by Admiral Harambe.

Pretty sure Trump is going to make Bill Clinton look like a saint.

Monica Lewinsky is nothing compared to the orgies Trump will have at the white house.

With Actuals, R1 is now .183 behind TFA's multiplier after 18 days in release.

Tue  Dec 20th   -0.086
Wed  Dec 21st  -0.142
Thr  Dec 22nd  -0.145
Fri  Dec 23rd    -0.196
Sat  Dec 24th   -0.326 (Xmas Eve)
Sun  Dec 25th  -0.334 (Xmas)
Mon  Dec 26th -0.253 (Boxing Day)
Tue  Dec 27th  -0.227
Wed  Dec 28th -0.224
Thr  Dec 29th  -0.209
Fri  Dec 30th   -0.230
Sat  Dec 31st  -0.274 (NYE)
Sun  Jan 1st    -0.253
Mon  Jan 2nd  -0.183

Now the REAL test begins. Time to see if R1's box office run has saved its best for last in its third act (January/February). :ph34r:

If I'm reading my excel sheets right, R1 only needs a 5m Tue (-69.6%) to continue to gain ground on TFA's multiplier.

TFA 1/4/16 -> 1/5/16

      3.026x -> 3.058x (+.0321x)

R1 1/2/17  -> 1/3/17 (w/5m Tue)

     2.843x -> 2.875x (+.0322x)

Even a 60% drop (6.36m) would still mean a nice clawback of multiplier:

R1 1/2/17  -> 1/3/17 (w 5m Tue)

     2.843x -> 2.884x (+.0406x) (+.0085x vs TFA)

Anything better, and the clawbacks continue.

Now it isn't a huge amount.  But they'd add up during the week. And this coming weekend will be the first weekend where both films are on equal footing, so it'll be interesting to see if R1 continues to gain ground and if it matters all that much in the end.
