SLAM!
I'm just grateful that it's coming out at all. Now I know exactly what I'll be seeing instead of Aladdin.
TMP
Lost City of Z was excellent, but I haven't seen his other work. Will probably check out some of his older films before this is out

That's the thing that makes me hesitant on whether or not that's accurate. If a trailer's planning to drop in the next few days, it seems strange to not have it play in front of a Fox sci-fi joint. filmlover
This is definitely getting delayed again but to where I have no idea. Last two weeks of October are dead at the moment so maybe they can put it there and debut it at TIFF/Telluride.

The Futurist
There is such an incredible energy in James Gray's films, a kinetic energy GA cannot get enough of.

TheManFromBeyond
I worry that this is gonna be another Bad Times At The El Royale. Great film, but its released is sandwiched between two highly anticipated films, John Wick 3 and Godzilla. Add on Aladdin and BrightBurn the same weekend, and I honestly see this just barely making back its $50 million budget. I'd maybe delay it to September/October to a less competitive time and to get some awards attention. Maybe some IMAX screens too.

Come to think of it , I think Gray already won one in the foreign film category.
