Hes so talented, but good grief every James Gunn film is good for one piece of idiotic misjudged Gunn "humour"...and for some reason they let him put it 30 seconds into the trailer of this.

 

The rest looks great but why indulge your director and cost yourselves 20m off the box office of parents taking kids. It's so, so dumb.

the flaming lips song from the sdcc trailer worked a lot better imo, but the movie looks good. The 2001 space suit homage is pretty cool.

If Gunn sticks the landing, he can have the best trilogy out of all the Marvel directors (MCU and beyond). The only one who holds that title is Sam Raimi.

Not a fan of the cartoonish colors/humor and over the top visuals, but the Rocket stuff looks great and will probably make me weep in theaters. Cautiously optimistic.
