Yeah, I think 150-160 ow could happen.

Which would be 15-20% bump from DP1's ow.

 

170 would be a 30% bump, similar to IM2's over IM1's ow.

Don't know why it should perform better than Lego and LegoBat (470 and 310 WW respectively).

BTW, LegoBat OS has taken a big dip from Lego. (135 vs 211).

Deadpool was so awesome (for anyone remotely interested in SH movies and the like) I'm creaming my pants for the sequel as well.

Obviously. GOTG was something of a sleeper blockbuster (if that makes sense) that displayed awesome legs for a big-budget sci-fi/SH movie. Therefore, it was easier for GOTG2 to vastly improve on the original's OW. Deadpool on the other hand, was a breakout success since Day 1, would be impossible for its sequel to improve by a 55% margin.

Interesting. A 2.5 multiplier will take GOTG2 to $366M. A 2.7 multiplier will propel it to an awesome $395.5M

Since it has quite a few non-religious celebrities and a major studio behind it, I think it could be a kid-friendly equivalent to Blind Side or American Sniper if the film actually turns out to be a solid, heartwarming Christmas movie.
