Good Lord at those holds for Wimpy Kid, Snatched, and King Arthur. Nothing indicated Wimpy Kid would drop that much :jeb!:

Whose showings do you think got stolen for WW and CU - my local has exactly 1 showing left on Saturday for KA, 2 for Diary, and 3 for Snatched (and the other has 2 for KA, 3 for Wimpy, and 3 for Snatched)...it seems all 3 movies got stuck sharing 1 screen (and 1 1/2 at the other) thanks to the new openers...

That twist when Batman and Superman are arguing over who should be JL leader and the rest of the team ends up voting for Wonder Woman instead  Go for it Zack & Joss!

If you look at the stills and trailers, she always front and center. Wouldn't shock me if she is already the leader. Captain America is the leader of the Avengers but Tony Stark provides him with the resources and is co-leader. I can see a similar situation with Batman and Wonder Woman. Superman's role in the team should be about inspiring hope and courage.

I shudder to ask why is bill maher trending

I dunno but I just watched him do an epic rant about Democrats losing because they're being pussies.

But back to Wonder Woman. :insane:

saw Wonder Woman last night with a friend and we both liked it.  She never saw one trailer or read anything about it so she didn't even know it was in the past :P  So she got to really go in blind with no information.  I liked it as well.  I thought they did a good job.  I won't say much else in this thread, but Gal was very good so hopefully that drops the whole idea of she can't act.  She definitely pulled it off.

as for Friday's number, I think that is really good for WW so can't wait to see how Saturday goes

Wonder Woman felt almost like Captain America the First Avenger

from the setting, the plot, the journey, the love story, even down to the film's ending. C'mon 2 people named Steve on a plane, I'll just leave it at that. But I think WW did it just a bit better.

Patty Jenkins could've made a real nice Cap movie too.

The characters both first appeared in 1941. It was a template at the time.

You think this is bad? Wait until you see Thanos and Darkseid.

Solid start for Wonder Woman.

Friday- $38.8

Saturday- $34.2

Sunday- $24.2

Weekend- $97.2

Finish- $285-$290

Captain Underpants I feel like should be doing better. But marketing seemed half-ass and the film looked a little too childish for adults. This benefits Cars 3 greatly.

Friday- $7.5

Saturday- $8.9

Sunday- $6.7

Weekend- $23.1

Finish- $80-$85

I need a $100M so I can claim to be a wizard. Of course I have no doubt WB will make the estimates be $100M but I need the actuals to be $100M lol

So much for folks on here saying this would fly past the century mark OW though
