I imagine it stays at those for awhile. Yeah, I'm a bit surprised it either isn't going split screen with ICAN or that The Mummy is still on 2 screens. WrathOfHan
This weekend, 8 and a half of my theater's screens will be occupied by movies in the two week contract period. This is why October 20 needs to clear up
The Panda
This is a good number but also remember Monday was deflated. I also wouldn't freak out (like last week) when it drops 30% tomorrow. Should have a solid weekend hold, possibly a sub-40% drop. Edited June 14, 2017 by The Mummified Panda

KeepItU25071906
so, it's -39% regards previous Tuesday. Not bad, nothing else. Hope, that Wednesday's and Thursday's drop gonna be similar or even less.

But just about every major theater with a dozen+ screening rooms will have Guardians for many, many more weeks. It's still in the top 5 dailies and will remain there through Thursday. My theaters are both 12s...my mall is a 16 and has also dropped it to 1/2 screen...1/2 screen tends to be no screen the next week...all 3 have dropped to 3 showings/day for the movie (2 matinee and 1 evening)... WrathOfHan
My theater is looking fairly eh today: WW: 10:00 (Just started): 46/124 11:00 3D: 0/78 12:00: 6/60 1:15: 6/124 2:15 3D: 0/78 3:15 3D: 0/60 4:30: 6/124 5:30 3D: 0/78 7:30 3D: 0/60 7:45: 2/124 8:45 3D: 0/78 Mummy: 10:15: 15/78 11:45 3D: 0/69 1:00: 5/78 2:30 3D: 0/69 3:45: 0/78 5:15 3D: 0/69 6:30: 0/78 8:00 3D: 0/69 CU: 10:15: 36/113 12:40 3D: 5/113 3:05: 6/113 5:25 3D: 0/113 7:55: 0/113 The first showing of POTC in half an hour has sold 10 tickets, the first showing of ML in 50 minutes has sold 8, and everything else (GOTG, ICAN, Baywatch, EE) has either sold 2 or none

Dom: Being conservative, it will be at ~267 using a 3rd weekend of 34 (-42%). 2x more 34 will give it 267 + 68 = 335 335 imo is the low-end. (but feel 350+ is highly likely) OS: Last weekend it did 57 for 205 cume (very similar to 58+ dom weekend and 207 dom cume). So say it does 330 from current markets (conservative like dom). Then it has Germany, Spain and Japan to go where SS brought 45+ combined. So 330 + 25 = 355 OS (but feel 385 OS possible) 335 dom + 355 OS = 690 gobal on the low-side. (350 + 385 = 735 likely) edit: revised the os numbers based on @TalismanRing's feedback. Edited June 14, 2017 by a2knet
titanic2187
I hope WB could retain WW in as much as possible number of theater, and as long as it could be BvS and SS, through not-so-good legs, but still deserve to be judged on big silver screen, 12 weeks and 14 weeks for them was too short, SS didnt even get last moment re-expansion, they could gain several hundred k in those last moment in theater x-men Apocalypse just stayed for 9 weeks, while star trek beyond was 13 weeks, for me, they lifespan was too short Disney is the only one studio that keep their film stayed in theater as long as it could, like more than 16 weeks+, that's good, cinematic experience couldn't be doomed

Its in 2900 theatres right now. I see it dropping maybe 800-900 max maybe 1000 this week. And then maybe another 500 the week after. It will still be in around 1500 theatres after next weekend.

(350 + 400 = 750 likely) Germany, Spain and Japan might bring closer to $20-25m total unless it breaks out in Japan and behaves more like a woman's event movie than a SH movie (and then it could do gangbusters). SS has performed far better in Europe so far than WW. For example, it'll make about 1/4th in Italy what SS did and that's a market similar to Spain in terms of SHs. Germany as a market is going to be a tough sell. It's dropping harder O/S and legs will be hit harder by Transformers O/S than domestically - as they were by The Mummy. Krissykins
That's a fantastic Tuesday number! Obviously it will drop on Wednesday, I'm guessing about 38-40%. So happy this film continues to dominate.
