He's sorta wasted his 2010s post-Moneyball/Tree of Life but if anything can wake him up it's a Tarantino role, hopefully with this and Ad Astra he bounces back.

Since is great 2011 output there isn't much there from him it is true, but it could be mostly because he act in what he produce and play the nicest hero guy to a point of ridicule (like that terrible ending of Fury), could be different in a QT movie.

I'm curious how two of the biggest stars in the world acquit themselves in roles that sound pretty non-starrish, I mean a washed up struggling TV actor and his stunt double I imagine two pretty shabby, worn-down guys. Hopefully QT didn't cast Leo and Pitt just cause he's chasing names but because he honestly sees them in the roles.

which movie is that from? I want to say MI2 but his haircut doesn't seem to match.

I just found it on google when I searched sad Tom Cruise but a quick reverse search points to... Knight and Day.

I feel I like about four or five Brad Pitt performances. *checks* Seems right. Moneyball, Burn After Reading, 12 Monkeys, Snatch, A River Runs Through It, Inglorious Basterds, and Seven, so that's........seven (ca ching). I feel like at the very least Seven could have been better with someone else in that role, probably a couple others too. Some of these are more just really great movies he is good enough in.

 I watched KaD multiple times and I have no idea where that happens in the movie (maybe in that part where the plane explodes?).

Good, entertaining movie btw.
