Anyway, McAvoy was the weakest part of this film. Not quite X-Men First Class “I can’t feel my leggggggs” laugh out loud bad. Just miscast. harlequinade
I thought McAvoy was OK, much better than I expected from the trailers
ddddeeee
Decent. The horror really doesn't work at all (it's about as scary as this episode of Murder, She Wrote I'm watching), but the cast keep it afloat.
lor15
I think it's decent too. Just bigger than the first one, because it's less funny and less scary, like 6/10 for me
The Stingray
This was almost a complete waste of time. It's like they took the worst elements of the first one (namely the "horror" stuff), and amplified them. It's Goonies meets Ghostbusters, with lots of blood and gore. Zero scares, zero suspense or atmosphere, little to no emotional connection, overlong, and an extreme overabundance of CGI.

At least I got a cool cup and Pennwise head shaped mug at mine.

Lower tier bloggers that weren’t invited to screenings?

Could go into rotten eventually but the opening weekend is done so I doubt it would have any impact.
OdinSon2k14
When is the spoiler thread going up? Or can I do the spoiler tage here?! Theres a couple things here-including a HUGE easter egg- that I'd like to discuss!
dudalb
I overall enjoyed it, but it's not as good as CHapter one. It is overlong, could have had 20 Minutes taken out easily. And we do need a spoiler thread. 1 hour ago, OdinSon2k14 said: When is the spoiler thread going up? Or can I do the spoiler tage here?! Easter Egg is hidden the cameo in question could not e more out there.
OdinSon2k14
People were saying overlong...first 40 minutes....I wasnt feeling that. I felt that the first hour was necessary (also funny) in that the crew had to be re-assembled. Think of it like a Purge movie, where the individual stories intersect. EndGame is what I call too long. It had that sleep inducing brooding period, and Cap and Iron Man's dull time traveling segments (Thor, Black Widow, and War Machine's were okay). Here, the gathering was funny and entertaining enough to not drag. Edited September 9, 2019 by OdinSon2k14

AndyK
I'll echo what other people have said, decent but not amazing. I preferred part 1.
