I think this will be A24's main push this awards season. The Disaster Artist is probably too commercial to go anywhere outside of Screenplay, and The Florida Project might be too arthouse for the Academy to fully embrace. Lady Bird seems to have a good mix between those two, so hopefully this is a Brooklyn-like success.

I love Saoirse, she's by far the best actress of her generation imo. More nuanced than JLaw, more versatile than Stone or Vikander, more compelling on screen than Brie.

Looks nice. A bunch of those moments are like Ronan doing a Greta Gerwig impression which is a little disorienting but fun.

It's funny how actors nobody's ever heard of seem to break out with several movies at the same time. This Chalamet guy, he's everywhere now. Call Me By Your Name, Lady Bird, I've no clue what he was in before but this year he seems to be in everything.
