Amazing, isn't it?  We both had issues with the film from a book point of view but we are still seeing it twice in three days

So IT broke the opening weekend in September gross in 1 day. Will broke the opening weekend for a horror movie in 2 days and will probably outgross most horror movies in 3 days.

Curious to see A:C's Friday. Did it get demolished, or was there the double feature thing going on. Really want it to do 100. Hell want it to go over CONJ2's 102 odd. For a spin-off sequel to go over a normal sequel that came a year earlier is unheard of. It's like if there was a direct sequel to Rogue One - say RO2 - that releases in 2018 and does more than SW8 (2017).

Sure. The movie hasn't sat too hotly with me, but can't go wrong with Soderbergh.

Even to this day.....after 18 years.....The Sixth Sense still remains the highest grossing horror-film with $293M DOM & $672M WW. And that film opened with $26M back in 1999.

 

Will "It" manage to take that record...or will The Sixth Sense's record stay?

Surely all the sellouts on Friday and Saturday will push a fair amount of business to Sunday, partially mitigating the expected large drop due to the NFL.
