FYI: Mountain Between Us reactions/reviews will be out around 8:10-8:20 EST after the TIFF premiere. I'm really curious to see how it is; meh reviews will probably cripple it.

50.0% drop from 117.150 gives IT 58.575m just above WONDR's 58.520m 2nd weekend.

The Sunday-Sunday drop next weekend should help IT manage a 50% drop.

 

(and in case this Sunday is better than estimated, then it means that the OW has gone up and even a >50% drop can still help IT's 2nd weekend go over WONDR's 2nd weekend)

He said R-rated movies, not horror movies. And neither of those three made 300M (unless we're adjusting for inflation).

 

The 300M making R-rated movies have been The Passion Of The Christ, Deadpool and American Sniper. It would be the 4th R-rated film and 1st horror movie to cross the threshold if it makes it (which can totally happen).

Should finish above 120 with actuals. Rather see a nice increase with actuals instead of the other way around. WB learning their lesson from other Sunday estimates this summer.
