STEPHEN KING'S IT WEEKEND THREAD | 117.15 Mill!....NO SPOILERS..NOT EVEN IN TAGS!

I still maintain that Annabelle had the most impressive gross between the holdovers, but Spider-Man having the smallest drop in the top 10 despite being out since the 1st weekend of July is maddening. That thing is a true legs monster.

Home Again also did A LOT better than I expected. I guess Reese still has quite a say with southern Americans.

IT broke Hotel Transylvania 2's September OW record, Gravity's Fall record, Paranormal Activity 3's debut for an R-rated horror film, and The Equalizer's best debut for an R-rated film in September.

It's also New Line's OW ever!

And with IT, I was fine with a $150 million domestic total originally. A total more than half of that($300-$310 million or even way more) would be even more satisfying.

Ok start for Home Again, considering it's $15 million budget it should make it back. Depending on holds the next few weeks a total around $25-$30 million seems doable.

Hitman's Bodyguard getting hit after a Labor-Day boost, with more action films coming in the next weeks to lure the same audience. Hitman should come close to $80 million domestic.

Annabelle:Creation still holding on, and should make above $100 million domestic. Making that and IT one of the big sucess stories for Warner Bros this 2017.

As for everything else, well surprisingly Emoji Movie is still hanging out on the top 10 and should earn around $85 million. And also with the top 12 being near $150 million, this is by far the biggest September weekend ever!
