I'm sure the movie is great but there's no need to dismiss all the good horror movies we had in the last few years even if they didn't do 100m OW.

Maybe you 're thinking of 5-10 years ago when Saw, Paranormal Activity and their clones were the only game in town.

Paranormal and saw were just silly movies and found footage were never as good as Blair witch

Deadline has reduced Saturday from 46.5 to 'roughly 45'

Quote

Saturday pulled in roughly $45M after Friday night’s $51M (which included that $13.5M preview).

http://deadline.com/2017/09/stephen-king-it-home-again-box-office-1202163667/

Again, Rth gave us 44 so could be closer to that.

51 + 45 + 21.5 (-52%)

Look at last year this Sunday and 52% seems ok considering IRMA http://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?view=1day&sortdate=2016-09-11&p=.htm

The better the opening gets the more I think that this won't have great legs lol. But I could be totally wrong. There's always a movie every few years that just hits all the sweet spots.

Eh...so far It's  not showing signs of front loading.
