I hated Perfect Sense with a passion but Mackenzie's next two movies made me think he's left the bullshit behind. Brought a good eye and energy to them that added to the already solid writing. Maybe like Panda says he's not cut out for epics.

So for some reason when I watched the Outlaw King trailer, the audio on my computer was super quiet (probably needs a reboot), and the internet was chugging so everything looked like 240p so I couldn't see shit.

Eh, the word "attack" can be viewed pretty broadly. BR's write-up could reasonably be considered an "attack" on BlackKklansman's depiction of narrative and characters based on how it digs into it, while also being in the larger context a film critique.

a movie about scottish heroes where the leads are chris pine and aaron taylor johnson is an affront. maybe ONE DAY there's gonna be a movie about a scottish icon with an actual scotsman in it. though at least mel gibson was an insane alcoholic so y'know he was close enough.
