Good lord, Coco has been dead at my AMC. Multiple showings today sold nothing.

I think everything has been dead if MT.com is any indication...

I mean, I just checked one of my locals that has a senior Monday discount...the next showing current sales...

Coco - 2

JL - 6

Wonder - 0

The Star - 2

I think we'll see big drops for everything for Monday numbers...

I hope that Coco doesn't drop especially harsh due to smaller than usual drop on Sunday, but obviously it's gonna be a huge drop in line with the comparables (Moana -82.7%, Tangled -83.4%, Frozen -83.5%).

It's kinda sad that a Richard Linklater joint from Amazon starring Steve Carell, Bryan Cranston, and Laurence Fishburne that once had awards aspirations is being outgrossed by a Jeffrey Dahmer biopic from a nothing distributor starring a Disney Channel cast-off.

It'd be sad if it were a great movie unjustly slept on. As it stands, eh, even if I'm a Linklater fan.

JL holding better in Canada, Coco not as strong there, or a combination of both?

Its been a while since we got Canadian numbers from Tribune, but I remember looking at Disney Pixar films and they always seem to perform rather okay.
