These Wednesday increases are really weak and i guess it just proves that Tuesdays are getting more insane each year.

@Christmas baumer: Wonder, OE and DaddyH2 all had small increases over Tuesday and JL stayed flat. Thor may be had a 15% increase. 

 

But again, the increases on Tuesday were higher this year compared to 2016. That may account for the lower increase on Wednesday.

So Coco might have the same or bigger previews+OD as Moana. That's nice for a movie that I doubted.

imo, reasonably optimistically for JUSTICE LEAGUE:

 

Wed 10.5 (122.4 cume)

Thu 9.0 (-14%)

Fri 18.0 (+100%)

Sat 17.1 (-5%)

Sun 9.0 (-47.5%)

- 44.1 2nd weekend (-53.0%)

- 175.5 10-Day cume [93.8 ow + 81.7 Mon-Sun]

- If it adds the Mon-Sun amount to it's cume then the DOM is looking at 257 [2.74x]

 

Edit: If it falls short of this amount and COCO over-performs, then COCO over JL is a possibility, unthinkable a week before release, much like ZOOTP over BVS.

Top 4 had an average 52% increase (Mon to Wed) in 2016

 

Top 4 in 2017 have an average of 43% increase. JL staying flat is part of the reason.

 

The drops on Thursday could be lower this year.

I think Thursday drops will be the same as they always are.  The muted Wednesday numbers aren't really all that muted....it's just that Tuesdays are insanely high now.  MJ2 increased 33% on Tuesday in 2015.  Now JL jumps 7% more.  It doesn't sound like much but it just shows that Tuesday's are the day to see movies now.  They act like a Friday in some ways.

MJ2's friday was 87% bigger than it's Tuesday.  If that were the case for JL, it would do 19.6.  it'll be interesting to see where it lands on Friday.

Apart from Disc Tuesdays => Crap Wed thing, wonder if JL being targeted at a more family friendly audience got affected by Coco's OD more than expected (though in that case FB did well against Moana's OD increasing by 17% on Wed last year).
