For a movie that grossed 486M domestically, it's didn't leave that much of a mark in public's consciousness. It is not forgettable to me though, since I really enjoyed it.

If TGD was better advertised and released in a different year than Inside Out, I think it's going to get treated differently, really unfortunate, I like it more than Frozen and Big Hero 6.

Cars 2 is an enjoyable movie to watch. In fact I kinda enjoy how "crazy" it gets.
