13 Hours opened in 2,389 theaters two years ago. Seems like they're taking a similar approach and concentrating on key areas where it would do well.

Runtimes without credits and trailer attachments for next week:

The Post: 1:49. Attachments include at least Red Sparrow

Paddington: 1:40. Attachments unknown (none?).

The Commuter: 1:39. Attachments are Acrimony and Winchester (new trailer).

Proud Mary: 1:24. Attachments unknown.

For fun, and because I'm really weird, I'll be doing some predictions for the other studio attachments

The Post: Probably either Maze Runner or Love, Simon along with Red Sparrow

Paddington 2: Teen Titans Go! (Trailer's already rated) and Smallfoot

Proud Mary: Slenderman and Sicario 2 (Maybe also Equalizer 2?)

I think it's a bit too soon for Equalizer; they'll probably wait until Slenderman or Sicario to drop a trailer

The only wide WB movies to open in under 2,500 theaters the past few years are Unforgettable, The 33, We Are Your Friends, Her, Getaway, and Cloud Atlas. So yeah, this bodes EXTREMELY well for 12 Strong.

Don't think anyone ever expected it to do all that well in the first place. I'll be surprised if it makes much more than Patriots Day did last year (and that film was somewhat of a surprising flop).

I've gotten the 12 Strong trailer before so many movies recently. Wouldn't say the studio isn't marketing it, at least.

I hate that trailer.

That Tom Petty cover can go to hell

So, if my area is any indication, matinees are gonna be overperforming - just dropped my teen at the bowling alley for a group event and EVERY lane was full...guess it's too cold for school, but not too cold to screw around today...so, I'm expecting theaters to also be mobbed anywhere where it was "too cold" to go in...

PS - No numbers yet, which I'm surprised by - guess Deadline and the experts are having trouble managing for this weather weirdness...

It's an Alcon movie so I guess WB is only distributing it so have no skin if it flops, I don't think they're distributing it OS either. They are likely concentrating on Paddington 2.

Fuck I work in 45 minutes, I'm at the college buying my textbooks, locked my keys in the car, my family is out of town, I don't have my work uniform on my and it's an hour and a half walk to either the theatre or my house.

Oh and it's -4 outside (celcius) and I'm freezing😂😭 time to go wait around in the bookstore to figure this out

Hope you got this all squared away...
