Yeah this movies has a good shot at 1B, if Dom probably just needs 300m (very doable with a 80m + OW) to have a good shot + WoM and legs in most markets are great.

$300m DOM will still miss it for sure. Already opening below WW in some markets and it needs to have strong expected legs make up for weak openings. $370m OS plus $280m China is the likelihood for now so it needs $350m DOM. But I agree, billion is not dead yet.

It's also opening a lot higher than WW in some markets so that also helps.

Its actually not opening below ww in barely any markets and christmas legs will put it above WW

It does not need 350m.

Its doing way more than 370m OS without China.

Meanwhile just to share that Aquabro might be the highest grossing film ever for WB in Malaysia.

Record holder is BvS at RM 31m+ (USD 7.5m)

Aquabro is at RM 21.7m+ by Thursday (USD 5.2m based on current poor currency lol)

How much did Wonder Woman gross?

And also BB is doing well this weekend too right?

We can conclude with $700m OS.

Not sure about WW as BOM stops updating numbers for WB films here. Unless it’s breaking out, there will be numbers like Aquaman reported on local/ international websites.

JL did 6.4m USD = RM27+ mil

I assume WW did 5m USD = RM21+ mil

BVS did 7.5m USD = RM31+ mil

Aquaman did 5.2m USD as of Thursday = RM21.7 mil, looking to be biggest WB records soon

If TDK release now, it would be huge too.

Highest grossing film is AIW at 17.3m USD = RM68 mil, surpassing previous record holder Fast 7 as the second film to cross RM60 mil.

Its not BOM that stops to report them, its WB that does not report them. Typical over the holidays, expect the same for the oher distributers too.

Depending on the combination of holidays and studio/distributor sometimes they close down that department (and others) till the first weekday after New Years Eve.
