Jumanji outgrosses all 2017 funny book movies worldwide

JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE ($881.8) just became Sony's 3rd highest worldwide release of all time, jumping ahead of SPECTRE ($880.7M) and SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING ($880.4M).

Good. Jumanji is leagues above all of them.

:winomg:

Jumanji was good fun but it was no Wonder Woman.

Aaaanyway, I went to see Greatest Showman again and loved it even more the second time. Can’t believe the hard time I gave the film before seeing it, I’m a moron.

Shape of Water was good, but had probably some of the most cringe-inducing violence in any movie I've seen all year. I actually gagged during a scene or two. Surprised it's doing as well as it is.

I'd still say Billboards has a better chance of winning though

Anyone think Peter Rabbit might be in for a leggy run?  25m isn’t much, but there’s a barren wasteland of family competition.  With V-Day and Presidents Day.

Somebody made a Gnomeo and Juliet comparison, so given that Sony has no shame with dragging movies over 100m, I could see it.

I'd appreciate the sight of another Sausage Party-esque thud
