More than TFA DOM?  I don’t like using the term “not a chance” or “close to zero”, as I think there’s always some probability (no matter how slight) of something happening but I’d personally think closer to 0% than 1%.

 

WW there’s potentially a slight chance, but I still wouldn’t bet on it (near 2b is insane, especially with a stronger dollar than 2015$

 

Internationally there’s some potential, but even that isn’t easy.

You know, even with a 39 million preview, if Infinity war plays out like other Marvel superhero movies, we are seriously looking at a potential new opening weekend record. TFA's record is really very much in danger! And we are talking about TFA here! How many people imagined TFA's opening week record might possibly be broken so soon?

For the record, I had $230.77M OW off $38.69M previews (from my Monday guess)...with it coming so close, I'm probably sticking to my guns for the OW total...

 

At least I'm doing way better on containing my fandom with these movies after missing JL:)...

Yeah, it always seems like Marvel preview numbers disappoint with Friday numbers being meh until a big ass Saturday when all the kids show up.

I think with 39m previews that puts a realistic IW OW range somewhere between 215m - 250m

 

Absolute lowest I could see it going is around 190-200m.

 

Absolute highest I could see it go is around 270m (if it’s IM really does end up playing more like AoU or Civil War)

 

But I wouldn’t bet on anything outside a 215-250m which puts the OW record in play but a stretch.
