One question - for those who found the movie (A:IW) awesome but exhausting...

As a fan, you'll definitely put yourself through it again...but would you put family and friends through it?  Would you put kids through it?  If so, how young?  Would you put somewhere supers clueless through it?

I think when folks are talking about legs, it's not just the repeat viewers (although they do matter)...it's the "take it or leave it" group, the "gotta now take my kids/parents/best friends" group, etc that really help solidify if this is going somewhere big for legs...

Would force my kids to go

I'm estimating. It was reported that across three networks it had a 8.3 share, 2014 was reported to have had 33mm viewers with an 8.7 share, so I'm approximating off of that. It was on FOX, ESPN, and NFL Network... and also this was a much more controversial draft than last year.

Last year the combined viewers was 9.2 million across all networks for Thursday night. I'm not buying that it tripled that number during a time when the NFL game ratings in general are down.

I think it is safe to predict no movie will be making any relevant physical media record anytime soon.

TLJ had like the worst presales on Amazon, it isn't making any records on home video.

Might have the record for most $100M OWs. A lot of movies have chances (I’m including some fucking wild chances):

Dark Phoenix

Captain Marvel

Godzilla 2

Dumbo

Shazam

Avengers 4

Men In Black

Aladdin

Pets 2

Toy Story 4

Homecoming 2

Lion King

Hobbs x Shaw OTP

IT Chapter 2

Wonder Woman 2

Sonic The Hedgehog

Frozen 2

Episode IX

2umanji

No Minecraft or Detective Pikachu?

Where'd you get your 30 million figure from? THR says that 3.9 million people watched it on Fox. I know it got broadcast on numerous stations though.

And last year the figure was at 10 million overall.

Lol it's impossible it got 30 million.

2.9 HH (household rating) means 3.83 million viewers

So i'm seeing here this NFL Draft has prevented the preview numbers from going higher? Could've been over 50M in previews. It's always something blocking a Marvel movie from achieving it's full potential, with AOU it was the Mayweather fight on OW and now this. WTF?

Lando is amazing in that he leaves such an impression you think he's more in the movie than he really is. But everything is so perfect about him - character look (cape, pornstache, cigar), actor's smooth charm, character arc.

Yeah, Saturday business is Marvel's bread and butter. Thursday previews have never been Marvel's biggest strength so whatever happened last night was minimal.
