Said this, Europe is increasing A LOT, reaching SW levels, and even LOTR or HP1-2 unadjusted levels, what is absolutely incredible. I think Avatar WW is done.

So even if domestic is frontloaded and stops around 850m it could take down Avatar WW. If domestic ends up beating SW7 and with overperformance in OS markets then 3B is in play.

 

Edit: Other impressive part is Dollar strength. Dollar has been strongest since late 2016/2017 phase and DXY is at 98 which is 7-8% above IW level. If $ was around Avatar level, it would crushed 3B easily.

Based on the ratios from Infinity War I think OS-Ch will come in with another 260-280m for Sat-Sun, putting the full overseas opening in the $860-890m range.

Avengers - Endgame Has Another Huge Day

 

Avengers - Endgame had another huge day as it collected around 51 crore nett plus. There is not much space for growth and also by Friday evening the peak shows at most places were booked advance. The collections of the film will bounce along over the weekend in a similar range and it will be Monday that will be interesting as to how big it will due to the huge advance numbers already there for the film.

 

 

When a film truly opens like a craze then its very unlikely that it can grow much as the first day audience. This happened with Bahubali - The Conclusion and now has happened with this film. It also used to happen with Hindi films but in the last few years unless the first day is a big holiday. Avengers - Endgame has collected around 103.50 crore nett in two days and the weekend will be 155-160 crore nett and thrn as mentioned above its about how big that Monday is. The collections of Avengers - Endgame are as follows.

Sunday is going to be in the similar range as well as the movie is already running at 85-90% capacity, even Baahubali had something like 65-70% capacity but that's a different case as it was released on almost thrice as many screens as Endgame.

So DOM might be a bit higher (357) and china depents China 331m.

And OS did $119m Friday, a 18% jump on sat gives us  140.4m then a 14% drop on sunday $120.8m give it an extra $261.2m.

OS-China = 261.2 + 270 => $531.2m (might jump more on sat but seems fair)

TOT: 1219m WW opening weekend
