Weekend Actuals (Page 92): Ant-Man and the Wasp 75.8M (#CRUMBLING EVEN MORE) | Jurassic World 28.6M | Incredibles 2 28.4M | The First Purge 17.4M

If it follows Homecoming:

36.3M (3.3x previews)

26.5M (-27%)

20.9M (-21%)

83.7M Weekend

This is basically what I'm seeing at my theater. Chances are it's not as frontloaded as SMH, which puts high 80s on the table and potentially 90M+ if it hits 13.

How about compared to GotG 2 seeing as it's a sequel to well received movie?

36.3M (3.3x previews)

33M (-9%)

25.1M (-24%)

91.1M Weekend

Given that was a May opener, the Saturday drop here is going to be worse.

Quite shockingly, I didn't get a trailer for a single Marvel movie tonight.

That seemed so weird.

Neither did we but their only options were Venom (not for kiddies) or Spider-verse (animated)? We got some weird ones though like Eighth Grade..

Another important factor to keep in mind: this has 6 PM previews, so the preview multi may be worse than SMH and GOTG2.

Yes, but then the first Ant-Man also had an 8.9 multi (with 7pm previews) .

This won't reach that because 1) it's bigger 2) it's a sequel and 3) it's 4th of July week with many people taking off Thur & Friday.

But there' s also no reason to think it would do less than SMH's 7.59 which also skewed to teenagers and was well SM which has more in built demand than AM

The trailers I got were:

-House With a Clock in its Walls

-The Meg

-AXL

-The Spy Who Dumped Me

-Creed 2

-Nutcracker

I think that was it. I don't think we got a 7th.

Animated Spider-Man would have been a totally legit trailer in front of this movie. A little surprised it wasn't there.
