Timber!  Movies with big theater drops coming for the weekend usually lose screenings for Thur night previews with a big opener as well so the Thur drops are even bigger than normal for them.

Oceans 8 is losing 24% of it's theaters this w/e and Tag 32% - so they probably both took a hit last night to accommodate AM&TW previews.  JWFK is losing premium screens but only 3% theater loss.

A lot of the older movies stopped playing past the afternoon yesterday because of Ant-Man's arrival so it makes sense that the drops are looking to be on the harsh side for yesterday.

Dunno if anyone's noted this but I'm pretty sure this is the first weekend ever when we have three movies playing in 4,000+ theaters. (Edit: well, 4100+ theaters, at least.)

Last year, Apes 3, SMH, and DM3 were all in 4,000 theaters.
