Indeed. If you remove the largest single OS market from each other the billion OS grosses, you get the following totals....

Avatar -- $1.826b ( - $203m / China)

Titanic -- $1.327b ( - $201m / Japan)

Endgame -- $1.310b ( - $629m / China)
Infinity War -- $993m ( - $376m / China)

The Lion King -- $921m ( - $120m / China)

Jurassic World -- $790m ( - $228m / China)

TLK had an extremely balanced run, on par with Titanic and Avatar in those terms.

You forgot TFA, FF7 & F8

TFA -- 952M ( - 179.5M / UK)

FF7 -- 733 ( - 390M / China)

FF8 -- 617M ( - 393M /China)

TFA also had China and Germany above 100M and Japan just 2M below that.

%-Share of biggest market (only looking at OS-Gross:

Avatar: 10.00%

TLK: 11.53% (final probably 10.8-11.00%)

Titanic: 13.15%

TFA: 15.86%

Jurassic World: 22.37%

Infinity War: 27.46%

Endgame: 32.46%

FF7: 33.53%

FF8: 38.9%

Based on this TFA would actually be spread out evenly but we obviously all know that wasn't the case it was really Europe heavy (if I remember correctly higher local gross than anything but Avatar and Titanic)

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic:  $523,549,294    33.3%
Foreign:  $1,046,327,746    66.7%

Worldwide:  $1,569,877,040

Almost 100M behind JW it's highly possible it will over take it and only 130M away from 1.7B which is also likely

FOREIGN TOTAL - 7/12/19 $54,182,944 5.2% $1,046,327,746 9/1/19

BOM has it reported as of Sunday

I seem to recall that over MDW they were showing the OS total including Monday for Endgame, but had it mistakenly displayed with the Sun date?

I just realized it passed the first Avengers. Damn, time flies by so fast. I wonder if it'll stay in the top 10 for 10 years?

Probably not. I'm guessing the Avatar sequels will push it out of Top 10 WW, as well as any yet to be announced Avengers films.

Probably will. Needs 3 films to pass it by May 2022 or so to miss, so Avatar 2 doesn’t even come out fast enough to matter. The main movies taking shots will be like... Frozen 2, TROS, JW3, BP2?

Oops, I misread the post. Thought it was asking if TLK would stay in Top 10 WW for 10 years.

Looking back, the pronoun is technically ambiguous. Makes more sense as Avengers though, TLK obviously can’t make it ‘til 2029 if it’s only landing at 7th.

Wow, seeing it so close to IW in this context really hammers that home.

Also how much EG was boosted by China.
