And would not be surprised if  they  go for the classic whodunit climax where all the suspects are gathered together in a room and the detective reveals whodunnit.

If the film is indeed a modern take on the genre, the detective should post the killer’s identity to social media while simultaneously gathering all the suspects.

This here is why American movies with inserted domestic politics and views are getting more and more incomprehensible to international audience. Ana de Armas looks 100% white so if I didn't read this comment I wouldn't know that the point of the movie is non-white Ana (????) vs white family. I read that she's a Spanish descended Cuban. Spanish are white. There's no other ethnic breakdown for her except her Spanish ancestry so someone please explain the tweet above for I'm confused.

I will say I'm glad to hear that the political commentary is properly interwoven into the movie. Whether you like or hate TLJ, one issue with the movie is that the political commentary was very on the nose and distracting.

Her character is a maid named [checks] Marta Cabrera so watching the actual movie I imagine you'd have to be pretty dense not to pick up on ethnic/class differences being an important factor here.
