IMDB scores for anything since maybe TDK are completely unreliable. Most reliable, though snobbish, for the cinephiles masses takes is likely Letterboxd now.

More the endless clickbait articles saying 'Chappelle should be cancelled' which ended up making a rather pretty decent comedy special to one of the most  talked about and buzzed about comedy specials in the past few years. 

 

I sometimes wonder what those articles are trying to accomplish or is to get clicks and revenue? 

 

It likely inadvertently made Joker quite more buzzed about then it would have been.

Nah, he specifically calls out RT - "RT means even less as shown with The Joker and the Chapelle Special" 

 

That is the sentiment going around in certain areas online(youtube).  But 17 reviews isn't enough of a sample size to determine anything, especially considering most big movies get 300+ or like Joker 450ish. 

 

These Netflix comedy specials get at most, around 20 RT reviews, it's not like these are sent out for review or anything.  It seems like it's just whoever is up for it can review it.

Huh? It's not like Joker panned there. And, average for all critics is just under 7.5... It's not like this a Venom situation where the movie was completely panned there and then broke out.
