Honestly, CJohn, TOG, Tele and Ethan(sorta?) leaving were actually a very heavy loss for this site. Tele for the obvious reason, CJohn for the spams and, Like it or hate it, TOG and Ethan sparked a lot of conversations.

Just something that I noticed :

 

ASIB is only the 10th highest OW of October with its 42 M$.  That first week-end of October was the one that Meet The Parents opened 18 years ago when it crushed the record (previous record holder was Antz with 17 M$, so yes the record had been crushed)

 

18 years later, MTP stands at #27 with its 28,6 OW.  Off the 26 movies that have opened with higher numbers, only 3 have grossed more in total.

More impressive :

#119 Look whos Talking and its impressive 140M$ total.  Off the 118 movies with higher OW... 6 have grossed more.

Columbus Day is not a holiday that results in super light Sunday decreases like this like Memorial Day. It also had a better drop than both Venom and Smallfoot yesterday (the latter of which saw a bigger Sunday drop than its 20% projection from yesterday).

 

Edit: just saw Venom is at $83M per Box Office while BOR has $80M. As Oprah would say, what is the truth?
