Lowery, who most recently helmed The Old Man & the Gun starring Robert Redford, will direct the film and produce along with Toby Halbrooks James M. Johnston. A24 is financing with Ley Line and BRON Studios. Sir Gawain and the Green Knight is one of the most famous tales in early English literature. As the story goes, chivalrous and loyal Sir Gawain, a knight of King Arthur’s Round Table, accepts the challenge of beheading the Green Knight and must wait a year and a day to receive a blow in return. In the end it was a test of his loyalty to the king. Just don't have Casey Affleck in the cast, and we Gucci

MrGlass2
This looks very promising, and the bar for success will be much lower than for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
SpiderByte
This is gonna be awesome. This could be a breakout (by A24 standards) at the box office depending on how they do it.

lorddemaxus
This looks completely different from Lowery's past films. It seems like he's furthering his style away from his clearly Terrence Malick influenced style with each movie he makes to something that's more unique to him and I love that. This looks pretty amazing too.
TMP
Ghost Story's a masterpiece. This looks incredible.
Hatebox
After seeing David Copperfield the other week I'm starting to feel like Dev Patel has had the most interesting career of any male actor under 30 that I've seen in a long time. He's really good at picking projects.

Joel M
I think of all Lowery films as very good but just short of being great. There's something missing but I don't know what. But Holy shit that trailer! This is not a drill!
marveldcfox
David Lowery is one talented filmmaker. Can do any genre well. Give him a marvel comic book. He will knock it outta the park.
ThePrinceIsOnFire
This is AMAZING. Hopefully it delivers and also gives A24 its due credit. So nice to finally see Alicia Vikander back in a good quality project, she has had quite some horrible years.
