Also...interestingly enough....how much money was that film supposed to make before it’s release, considering the hype that film got? Was that film expected to do better than what it ended with?

25 Japan // 25+ possible according to Corpse in Japan thread

158 Dom (ow * 2.9x)

82 China (ow * 2.0x)

= 400 (160 OS-Ch + 158 Dom + 82 Ch)

 

approx theatrical returns using that break-down,

160 * 0.40 + 158 * 0.55 + 82 * 0.25 = 171 on 150 prod budget

Dom and OS-China both could be 2x China (and both above the prod budget) and that helps in our simplistic scenario/calculations here compared to say ALITA.
