It's handsomely shot, and there's some cool kills, but besides that it's pretty bad. As a horror film it doesn't work at all, relying on really bad jump-scares for its entirety, and it's not really a satire/deconstruction of Superman. Just felt like lesser Chronicle.

And, in typical Sony fashion

This is gonna flop. Marketing campaign is quiet and Memorial Day weekend already feels like a bad time to release a gory horror movie to begin with.
