Well they were accessible enough to do it but even the initial expansions fizzled and I feel like it didn't have to be this way. End of the Tour and Lean on Pete were arthouse-audience-friendly enough to make several times more what they did.

So much "attention" for one little film . Read that Unplanned had pre-previews from Monday till Wednesday were it collected 800k US$. That's why the Friday number was suddenly higher and boxoffice.com still only expected 5M OW. The real Friday number was 1.45M.

Gloria Bell deserves to be doing better.

I think Beach Bum could go the way of Big Lebowski and have a huge following. It is just a really fun film. It's Korine without any of the cheap cynicism.

Haven't smoked weed since I met my wife in 2004. Might after daughter graduates so like 14 more years. I smoked a ton it was good times.
