tbh LSD/acid/shrooms aren’t really “hard shit”.

They don't do speedball if we're talking dangerous drugs, but one of them does cocaine, which is still pretty dangerous.

Looks like Dumbo was a bit frontloaded. Should still make a decent $120-130M total but will need overseas to break even. I guess it's understandable why they've decided Lady & the Tramp and live-action remakes of other catalogue titles will be going straight to their streaming service. Will be interesting to see how Cruella does (it shoots this summer and almost certainly will be their March 2021 release), even though that'll be more of a starpower testament (since the entire hook of the movie is Emma Stone as an iconic Disney villain like Maleficent was for Jolie) than the others.

Okay, Deadline did not just write this sentence, when on Monday, they said Dumbo would fly in with $65M and then Tuesday, it would make $57.5M+ as their own estimate...

"Disney will report their figures soon: Dumbo is under the $50M+ start they hoped for and the crazy $60M estimates a couple of B.O. analysts were seeing."

Do they remember their own writing?:)

PS - Dumbo was $17.6M Sat, so Sun is projected at $12.4M (about 30% drop)...

Justin Theroux didn't give a career-defining performance in The Leftovers to only be offered dog voice roles in straight-to-Disney+ productions.

Your obsession with them saying "fly in" is really weird.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure all the big studios do that?

Yeah, but Disney really low-balls their predictions to make their films look like even bigger over-performers. But Poppins and Dumbo seem to have gone the opposite rule; Capt. Marvel was really low-balled by them though to make that weekend look even better
