They’d have to do reshoots for that.

They’re having a hard time locating Miller? How does that work?

Not much of one.  You literally just need to shoot someone else arriving out of the Speed Force.

And Warner Bros. *must* be involved (unofficially) in "parenting" Miller, at this point... considering they're the only place he has any high-profile gig with currently.

This really is approaching the level of the surreal.

That someobdy charged with a violent felony cannot be located is very troubling; you can bet the police or even the FBI if he fled Hawaii will come looking for him.

And, no Warners is not  going to help him dodge prosecution or legal proceedings. No way they lay themsevled open to the charge of aiding and abetting a criminal.

People here just don't get how serious a violent felony charge is.

If they are helping him to dodge legal authoraties, they are idiots.

That is what is puzzling me. People with very serious felony charges against them don't usually vanish. You can bet the Hawaiin legal authoraties will not let this rest. They will, if necessary, send the real life Equivilent of Hawaii 5-0 after him.

You don’t have to keep talking about the Hawaii legal department in every one of your posts.

But it's the main factor in this situation.

I repeat, people here don't get how serious a violent felony charge is, and what a moron Miller is if he trying to avoid prosecution by going into hiding.

You could do what army of dead did and digitally insert and recast the flash roles

That only worked in Army of the Dead because the actor had a minor role. There wasn't that many footage that needed to be changed, so Zack Snyder was able to put a lot of care into making those shots look perfect. It requires a lot of planning and working on matching the lighting and movement in every single shot. To do the same thing on this movie, with Ezra probably being in almost every scene, would be a nightmare, and who knows if the results would be any good.

What worries me about this situation is that Ezra Miller didn't seem to care about hurting the movie and their career. They engaged in a second violent incident after the first one hit the news. You would think after the first arrest bringing in significant negative attention, WB would already start working with them on clearing their image. Instead, it looks like this behavior may just continue, causing even more trouble for The Flash.

Firstly Ezra has not actually been charged with a felony or anything yet so quit saying that. They were booked on suspicion of second degree assault (which is a felony in Hawaii) but was released without charge pending investigation which is not complete yet AFAIK.

Secondly whats the point of bringing this up in multiple topics? You did it in the Aquaman topic, WB thread and here. If you want to discuss this so badly why not create an Ezra Miller thread in the Real world section?

Thirdly you do know that you can quote multiple people in the same post rather than doing it separately?

So, WBs options

Drop on HBO MAX. They would pretty much lose what they spent making the movie, so $200-$250M

Reshoot Ezra's scenes. So, probably another $100M

Digitally alter Ezra. Maybe less than reshooting, but still expensive.

Do nothing. No upfront cost, but if Ezra is in the news when this hits can cause serious backlash and revenue loss for WB.

So, no matter what, WB is in a losing position.

They could have some reshoots where Ezra would die near the end and a new Flash would appear...not that difficult and more cost effective than scenarios of recasting and reshooting the lead. They are still a year out and could easily find a Flash in the next couple of months.

Put $0 into the rest of the movie and let it die on HBO Max would seem the most logical solution. This is completely out of control. You can't just "reshoot his scenes" when the entire film revolves around him.

Them going AWOL is troubling, I just hope that they are found and actually are both given up to the proper authorities and they get themselves some help. They seem to be spiralling and this could get even darker which I don't think anyone would wish to see.

No shot in that inept ugly piece of crap looks anywhere near perfect

Zack Snyder should never ever ever ever be his own cinematographer again going forward.
