It is hard to overlook the potential in this one. The trailer views is massive and it looks more exciting and appealing than other movies too.

Looking forward to this. Ridley may have one the most uneven filmographies for a legendary filmmaker but when he is hits he hits. Watched the Original Alien last night. That movie still holds up. I prefer Aliens but the original is still great.

I mean he’s only really “hit” with The Martian in 22 years (for box office). Hard to call that uneven, that’s just unsuccessful.

Was mostly talking about quality because yes he has not had that many actual hits but in the last 22 years has also had Black Hawk Down, American Gangster and Prometheus all make money besides The Martian.

110-120 million less. KOTFM cost 225 mln initially and it had multiple rounds of reshoots while in post-production.
