The decision to make a full helmet mask and also make it flexible for expressions with CGI is kinda confusing. Going full Mocap might have been a better call. That way they could get more expressiveness out of the face

It does look good, but also pretty generic. Awkward teenager gets a superpower, cant control it, wacky situation, bad guys arrive, now he develops self-esteem, controls his power and saves the day.

 

The blue beetle powers are not that interesting or not interesting enough that i would watch the movie in cinemas. Sword is honestly just boring, i would like the idea more that the scarab has only defend powers and he needs to rethink them/use them cleverly.

Seen the trailer and man this film better make money! I want to see a sequel with the Reach and all the aliens! Plus Jaime is a great character! Love the suit!!

That's more like Dove in the original Hawk and Dove comics (which the Titans show did NOT run with)...

Looks solid, I did like the transformation sequence in the trailer. Not sure on Susan Sarandon as the villain though.
