Star Wars is already in a pretty meh-tastic place to begin with in terms of their show quality, so putting out even more shows will only make things worse

Mando and Tales of Jedi trailers were good enough for me, personally. I don't need them to market 10 stuff at once. More important is that what's being marketed looks interesting.

Lucasfilm has a track record of not pushing multiple things at once. We're in the stretch run for Andor so that's why we got teasers for Mando season 3, the Tales shorts, and a release date for Bad Batch season 2, and initial looks at a couple other shows. They're not trying to blow the doors off or set a labyrinthine schedule.

 

Figure Mando season 3 in spring 2023, Ahsoka after that, Skeleton Crew after that. The exact premiere dates for TV shows this far out matters far less than Marvel scheduling 2-3 years in advance its movies

 

Acolyte is still casting, the casting news for a couple big roles for that broke prior to D23 so there's nothing to say about it right now.

Infinitesimally more seriously, LFL has been deciding that "the fans" want things kept closer to the vest for a very long time now.  One of the more poisonous legacies of JJ's Mystery Box Marketing, yes. But also I just think the fan culture over inside LFL thinks fans don't want to know things ahead of time. At least not too much.  Which in turn leads to... frustrating rollouts on marketing.

 

Just a different culture inside LFL than, say, Marvel.  A lot of it might be explained that LFL is full of second (and even third!) generation SW fans, with all of the baggage of spoiler culture that got incubated in the '00s and '10s that came along with it, combined with a instinct to have a reverence of the past.

 

Marvel, on the other hand, being a "new" fandom is still in its forward-looking phase, so even if Marvel Studios is full of first generation movie fans, the internal culture just isn't quite in the same place or have the same tendencies.
