Definitely the last time I was in a majority female theater was Beauty and the Beast. So this was a really interesting experience.

Watching Barbie in a theater where I'm one of 2 men in here. It's interesting to see how like a group of 15 college boys went into Oppenheimer and like 10+ college girls came into Barbie. It's self sorting. Had forgot that even Hollywood movies have intermissions which is basically the theater stopping the movie at a random point and saying "intermission".

having completed barbenheimer with the bot gang, what a lovely weekend for the movies that a movie as joyously bizarre as Barbie and marvelously dense as Oppenheimer can be big hits. Already cool beforehand, but having seen the movies, absolutely invigorating

Oppenheimer is an adult talky drama in West, in India shows are filled by teen, 20s Nolan fanboys

The UK’s prime minister has posted an I’m-just-a-regular-guy tweet saying his family are off to see barbenheimer, apparently oblivious that his children are legally too young to see Oppenheimer so really they’re all just seeing barbie.

In the UK the cinemas are on the hook for giant fines if they're caught letting underage patrons in, so they're really hot on it for the big movies
