Ezen Baklattan
Probably not Hotel Transylvania. The Pirates would get in before that. Maybe even Rise Of The Guardians if it's good.
Impact
I don't think you get the joke there, look at the last 3 titles-I did that on purpose
Ezen Baklattan
It would be hilarious if HT actually turned out to be pretty good, based on that joke.
Impact
Yep. Actually it could be pretty good but not what the Oscars are looking for
AniNate
Rise of the Guardians receives Animated Film of the Year award http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/race/rise-of-the-guardians-hollywood-film-awards-367598
SchumacherFTW
I'm finding this year very mediocre for animation. The Pirates was the most entertaining for me so far. Brave was alright, Tangled was better though. I'm looking forward to seeing what Paranorman is like on Sunday, so hopefully some hope may be restored to me. PatrickvD
FrankenweenieParanormanWreck-it RalphBraveRise of the GuardiansI think it will be between Paranorman and Wreck-it Ralph. Early word on Ralph is that it's absolutely spectacular. And seeing as how that word has yet to be used to describe ANY of the other animated features so far this year, I'd say Ralph will take it home. Frankenweenie has the best reviews of the year so far, but the Academy is not so into Burton, so he will be snubbed as usual.Rise of the Guardians has been winning things left and right, only because Katzenberg is shopping it around. He's back to his old ways. The last few times he set out to make an an animated film designed specifically to win an oscar... he failed. Twice. (Pocahontas and The Prince of Egypt). Variety gave Guardians a negative review, so that's not a good sign.
ddddeeee
I think Frankenweenie has a better shot than ParaNorman. It's reviews were a fair bit better, and it's a B&W ode to old cinema, which the academy seem to love. Plus they didn't mind nominating Corpse Bride back in 2005. Kvikk Lunsj
I do not think Wreck it Ralph is in the academy taste. It movie about video games. The academy would rather have a film like Frankenwennie, Brave, or Paranorman to win.
forg
We should not discount the indie/foreign animated films, two got in last time
Impact
I still have high hopes for Brave. You know I wouldn't be suprised if Mad 3 got nominated. (I think it should be but whatever )
forg
I like Mad 3, it's in the same level of Puss in Boots for me so yeah it has a chance but I don't think it will happen
CoolioD1
Article @ In Contention says that 21 films have qualified for contention. Is that the most ever? I think a couple indie/foreign ones could sneak on like last year, maybe one could even win this time.

Win, would be lovely but probably not happening.
