The last time a movie was #1 for three weeks in May was Revenge of the Sith in 05, and memorial weekend was one of its three (softer drop)

BS may not even see a significant increase on Saturday. I'm too lazy to check but Battle LA did the same thing if I recall, it held steady on Saturday. This movie has a BLA feel to it. IMO. With that said, the studio losses may not be as big as one might think.http://forums.boxoffice.com/index.php?/topic/3278-interesting-facts-about-boxoffice-receipts-and-other-revenue-sources/page__fromsearch__1

Thanks Rth. Woohooo...I called BA holding steady on Saturday. Just think Battle LA although Mem Day will cushion the fall. Edited by lilmac

23m?!?!?? WTF... WTF!

Those numbers are predictions, not the real numbers. He had the numbers for the whole OW there he can't know what the final numbers will be unless he has a time machine. Rth just predicted $24m-25m one hour ago. Chillax, nothing to lose sleep over and most of all, take without a grain of salt. :) Edited by iJackSparrow

lol those aren't predictions. Nikki's been doing this for a while now. These are estimates.

It's funny how people swear by Rth's numbers when they come in higher than expected, but doubt them when they're a tad lower than expected. ;)

The dude is pretty accurate and his estimates come from actual data.

Oh fuck, I've got lost in translation, yes, those are estimates. But as I've said, they aren't actuals.

lol you're talking too much. Anyway, we're not newbies. We know they're not actuals. You're not telling us anything we don't already know. :D Edited by ECSTASY

But you should know as well as everyone else that Nikki's estimates a subject to wild transformations. I would say these numbers are no more accurate than Rth at this point.

I didn't say they were accurate. He said they were predictions, I was just clarifying that. I made no claim as to the accuracy.
