ecstasy
Nora Ephron is reported to be gravely ill. Nobody knew until her obituary was published prematurely over the internet and she started trending. Liz Smith her good friend wrote about her as if she had passed away and that created a firestorm because no on knew she was sick. A list of her accomplishments as a filmmaker."While official confirmation has yet to be reported, columnist Liz Smith eulogizes friend and filmmaker Nora Ephron, writer and director of films including Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, and 2009's Julie & Julia. "People who never dreamed she was ill, are crestfallen. Amazed. Stunned," Smith writes. "I won’t say, “Rest in peace, Nora” – I will just ask “What the hell will we do without you?" UPDATE: Sources clarify that Ephron is alive, but "gravely ill."http://movieline.com/2012/06/26/nora-ephron-dead-liz-smith-eulogy/

baumer
IMHO, Ephron could have retired after When Harry Met Sally and her legacy would be complete. That is one of the best scripts ever written.

rockNrollaDIM
I thought Julie and Julia was a really sweet movie and one of the better offerings in 2009. Think it was in my top 15. RIP Edited June 27, 2012 by rockNrollaDIM

Noctis
When Harry Met Sally is the most overrated romantic comedy. It's ok, but not great.I liked her other works much better.
