The France opening seems kind of disappointing. Thor 1 opened with 8m so barely an increase. And Mexico for Thor 1 was 7m.

first Thor opened with 89.2m and finished with 268m.

Russia shouldn't be there, it's previews, the movie will be released on Thursday next week.

THOR 2 has enthusiastic response from Asia.

Somebody should have an aggregated East Asia

numbers. That is a substantial market if

combined: Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore,

Philippines, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea,

Taiwan, HK, and Vietnam.

THOR1 made $43M in East Asia without China

THOR 2 Int'l totals (cont'd): TAI ($4.1M) ESP ($4.1M) MALA ($3.6M) SING ($3M) OTHER ($20.6M) TOTAL ($109.4M)

I guess that is Spain. Not good given this has been a 4-day weekend (Friday was national holiday) and Thor 1 opened to 5.6 million.

is there example of another film that opened in Russia that had previews? What was its second weekend drop?

Previews are pretty common in Russia, but they're usually not as wide.

Disney decided to release it on November 7th, but wanted to benefit from a Russian holiday tomorrow so....
