rockNrollaDIM
According to recent official report, MI4 actually made about 678.9M yuan (107M $) in its entire theatrical run, claiming ALL TIME #3! Top 7 Hollywood releases of 2012 so far: 1. MI4, 678.9M yuan 107M $ 2. Journey 2, 387.3M yuan 61M $ 3. John Carter, 258.7M yuan 40M $ (after 3 wkns) 4. Wrath, 154.4M yuan 24M $ (after 2 wkns) 5. Sherlock Holmes 2, 186.4M yuan 29M $ 6. War Horse, 117.3M yuan 18.5M $ 7. Happy Feet 2, 53.6M yuan 8.4M $ That's just freaking amazing and so deserved. MI4 was one of the most impressive action movies I've ever seen on the big screen, in IMAX it was simply incredible, it's no wonder it became a blockbuster in China. rockNrollaDIM
Also another "Holy shit!" at Journey 2. 60m from China alone? That film had a really solid global run, even though it seems like it flew under the radar. Josh Hutcherson is a billion dollar man this year
A Marvel Fanboy
Yeah, "even" Journey 2 did 60M ... who would think that. And even MI4 with an eye-poping 107M can fall short of #5 of 2012.

I kind of expected Journey 2 to make like 40m, but 60m is excellent.Journey adventures are boss in Asia.

chenguonk
I would be so happy if Avengers did Titanic 3D numbersI guess it's too difficult for the Avengers, considering that even all the released Marvel movies combined cannot reach the OW level of Titanic 3D...
